Do not take your eyes for granted. Take these steps to keep your peepers healthy.

(1) Eat Well

Eye health begins with the food on your plate. Nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zinc, and vitamins E and C might help ward off age-related eyesight issues like macular degeneration and Illness. For them, fill your plate :

  • Green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, and collards
  • Salmon, tuna, and other fatty fish

(4) Use Safety Eyewear

If you use materials or at home, wear goggles or safety glasses.

Sports like lacrosse, racquetball, and ice hockey can lead to an eye injury. Wear eye protection. Helmets with sports goggles or face masks will protect your eyes.

(5) Look Away From the Computer Screen

Staring at a telephone or computer screen for too long can cause:

To protect your eyes:
