Caffeine in Green Tea

Loading

How true is it that a disadvantage of green tea is insomnia because of its caffeine content? You could say it as a “disadvantage,” but people who work a night shift disagree. Admittedly, green tea contains caffeine, but compared to coffee and other tea it has a lower level but it contains an incredible amount of antioxidants.

What is caffeine?

It is a type of medicine that acts as a stimulus that stimulates the central nervous system and the heart. A person with caffeine in his system can immediately raise his blood pressure but have no evidence of definitive long-term effects on blood pressure itself. The prolonged rise in blood pressure still takes excessive amounts of green tea.

The caffeine content in green tea is retained unless it is caffeine-free. Studies suggest that green tea is probably higher than coffee, but with preparation, a person can significantly reduce caffeine in the body. How? Due to the infusion length of hot water and how often you have used the leaves.

Surprisingly, caffeine in green tea is cheaper than the caffeine in coffee. It works through the body in a smaller difference than coffee. Apart from caffeine, green tea has other ingredients that work perfectly with caffeine, namely vitamins, oils, and tannin.

Caffeine difference

As mentioned, the caffeine content in green tea, compared to coffee, may have a different approach in the human body. Because of its substance, it does not have to increase the heart rate and blood pressure, unlike what caffeine can do immediately. Green tea is generally more suitable for drinking for people who want to lose weight but who are sensitive to caffeine.

Based on studies, caffeine can increase metabolism in the body, helping to help the body burn off excess calories. The caffeine content in green tea is undoubtedly more prominent than other drinks, but you can reduce it based on the type of green tea that you have chosen to drink. Contrary to what other people know, oxidation cannot increase caffeine levels in the body. The truth is that some studies have been done and it has been discovered that the longer the oxidation, the lower the caffeine content will be present.

Green tea without caffeine

Green tea is sometimes decaffeinated for medicinal purposes. Caffeine-free green tea has a more pleasant taste and an impressive antioxidant effect. It is very effective in preventing and even treating cancer, lowering cholesterol levels, collagen formation, lowering triglyceride levels and preventing arteriosclerosis. Therefore, with caffeine in green tea, it can reduce the metabolic processes that go on considerably in our body, but do not affect blood pressure and heart rate.

Caffeine content

Compared to the caffeine in black tea, green tea only exists for half. And compared to coffee, green tea has only a quarter of a volume, making it the perfect drink that you can include in your meals. But some precautions must be followed. One that is the moderate amount of green tea to be consumed within a day. It can only be 4 cups. More than that, it will generate negative reactions that are felt in the body.
