Ingredients
- 4 oz Shiitake Mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 1/4 cup sliced onion
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 tsp matcha
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 tsp crushed dried tarragon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Steps
- Eliminate stalks into long strips.
- Melt butter on medium heat.
- Add mushroom strips and onion, glaze for approximately 3 minutes.
- While onions and mushrooms are glazing – whisk matcha, white wine, heavy cream, tarragon, salt, and pepper.
- Pour liquid mushrooms and onions and bring to a boil lower to medium-low warmth and stir for about 5 minutes.
- It can be served over rice, chicken, and sausage, or even alone.
