Proper nutrition is the foundation for all aspects of your dog’s life.

It has an impact on their health and longevity by providing an important balance of proteins, lipids, complex carbohydrates, and trace nutrients and minerals that their bodies require for growth, repair, and the maintenance of a healthy immune system.

Nutrition is a complex and essential component of your dog’s capacity to think rationally, reduce stress, and exhibit calmer behaviour.

It takes a lot of energy to think. Dogs participating in a training programme invest enormous amounts of mental energy focusing on the tasks assigned to them. If your dog begins with poor nutrition, he or she will become lethargic, agitated, or hyperactive when asked to perform the most basic of duties. They are unable to focus and, as a result, lose attention after a short length of time or become confused. When a dog is repeatedly requested to do something he or she does not understand, bewilderment can lead to violent behaviour.

When it comes to dog training, the first thing I look at is the dog’s food! I approach my work from the inside out. If the fundamental reason of the behaviour is not corrected, training becomes useless.

Dogs who are hyper, inattentive, and out of control frequently consume diets containing high quantities of grain ingredients such as wheat, corn, and corn meal.

Aggressive dogs consume diets with larger levels of incomplete protein, which produces an excess of energy. These proteins are frequently incomplete chains that do not allow for adequate construction and repair and may be difficult to digest.

Shy or nervous dogs have poor digestion and can have digestive issues such as diarrhoea. Their coats are frequently dry, brittle, and heavily shed.

Soaking the meal in water for around 30 minutes is one technique to test the foods you’re providing. It is predominantly cereal if it expands and gets mushy.

Is your dog’s faeces mushy and loose, or is he gassy? If this is the case, they are not digesting their meals properly.

You will do more to help balance their behaviour and add to their health and lifespan by looking at their meals.

Life Abundance provides the optimum balance of nutrients for a healthy diet.

The proteins are full chains that are easily digested.

Carbohydrates are complex and do not break down into simple sugars, resulting in energy swings with high and low behaviours.

The probiotics in the meal balance the intestinal tract and make the food easier to digest, which is ideal for nervous or shy dogs and ensures that all dogs receive the nutrients they require from the diet.
